The Black Fund of Central Texas formerly operated as a community fund within Austin Community Foundation (ACF), a 501(c)(3) public charity and steward of more than half a billion dollars in charitable assets in Central Texas.
Donations to TBFCT were received and managed by ACF, which provided legal, financial, and fiduciary oversight. This means your gift benefits from ACF’s full compliance and accountability infrastructure. We now operate under our own 501c3 as of 2024. Now all donations are received and managed by TBFCT.
